What types of services are needed?
Regular maintenance
House cleaning, gutter cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, window cleaning, carpet cleaning, HVAC service, lawn care, pest control, winterization, Holiday lights, etc.
Repairs & Replacements
Appliances, plumbing, electrical, roof, windows, siding, roofing, foundation, painting, decks, fencing, garage doors, flooring, tile
Major renovations
Kitchen & bath remodel, additions, ADUs, landscaping
What is the cost?
It’s up to you. If you simply want us to dispatch jobs to you, once you complete the job there is a $19 processing fee. If you want to use the platform to make sure all your past and current customer keep coming back, we will set them all up with Househappy accounts from you for a total of $99/mo. And of course, no processing fees for your customers.
How and when do I get paid?
When you mark the job as complete and submit your total bill, the homeowner is charged and you receive payment through your Stripe account. If you don’t have a Stripe account, we can help get one set up for you.
Do I work directly with the homeowner?
As soon as the customer indicates they would like to schedule an appointment with you, you will be connected directly with the homeowner through the completion of the job. You will be stored in the homeowner’s account as the preferred pro for next time they need your services.
How many pros will I be competing with for a job?
If you have previously completed work for the homeowner requesting the service, the job will be dispatched to you unless the homeowner requests otherwise. If a preferred pro is not identified, jobs are typically submitted to 2-3 approved pros and dispatched based on speed of response and availability.
How does Househappy make money?
Lenders, real estate agents, home service professionals and others who want to build long term relationships with their customers, who own homes, pay Househappy to help them do so by improving the homeownership experience and keeping them top of mind. This front-end revenue makes it possible for Househappy to charge nominal fees to service pros for delivering new and ongoing work.
